What has changed from 1 January?
Till 31 December 2020 you confirmed online card payments with SMS codes. Check how to do it from 1 January 2021.
If you use ING Business

Select card payment
on the store's website or in the app

Enter the card number, expiry date, CVC2 code and then confirm

You will see a page with transaction details
and a request to confirm it in ING Business module1

Log in to the new ING Business system1 for card users
for card users. If you do not have access to it, please register.

Check the payment details
and if everything is correct, confirm with the SMS code that will be sent to your phone
1On the 1st of January 2021 the new ING Business module for ING cards users was released. The new system will replace ING CardsOnLine soon. In order to authorize online card payments via ING Business, you will have to register and activate 3D Secure method of authentication.

Choose the card payment option
on the website

Enter the card number, expiry date, CVC2 code and then confirm

Check the transaction details
If everything is correct, confirm with the SMS code that will be sent to your phone. Then click "continue"

Enter the card’s PIN code
Your PIN is safe, it will not be transferred to the store. It is only used to confirm your payment
We recommend authorizing the transactions via ING Business.
How to prepare
If you want to authorize online card payments via ING Business banking, you must:

Register in the new ING Business module for card users.
Go to https://ingbusiness.pl/gib/card-user-activate and follow the instructions.

Activate 3D Secure transactions authorization via ING Business.
You can do it in the Account settings section / online payments.
Why are we introducing changes?
This is the result of the EU directive PSD2, implemented in Poland by the Payment Services Act, which imposes on us an obligation to apply the so-called strong authentication that requires additional verification of the user's identity.
